The holiday home 'Iltarusko' is located on the outskirts of Rauhala, in a quiet and dreamy location in the middle of the forest. Lake Jerisjärvi is only 300 metres away. Rauhala is located between the ski resorts of Levi, Ylläs, Pallas and Olos in the middle of the forests of Lapland, easily accessible via Kittilä airport.

On the ground floor there is an open-plan living room (with sofa bed) and adjoining kitchen area, 1 bedroom (double bed and large built-in wardrobe), bathroom, separate toilet incl. bidet and sauna as well as a sufficiently large anteroom where you can store your weather gear and the washing machine. The living room has a soapstone fireplace, TV, DVD player, Internet radio and a small selection of books and DVDs. The kitchen with dining area for 5 people is equipped with everything you need, from crockery and cutlery to a cooker and dishwasher. On the upper floor (sleeping loft) is the sleeping area for two people with 2 single beds and a beautiful view of the countryside.

Our 2 terraces with garden furniture invite you to linger. A charcoal barbecue is available for a successful barbecue evening. There is ample parking space in front of the holiday home, also for a motorhome. The firewood supply for the fireplace is located in the left-hand part of the outbuilding. Since autumn 2022, charging facilities for electric vehicles have been available for an extra charge (price on request).

Please note that the access to the holiday home is via an unpaved road (approx. 1 km), which is regularly cleared in winter. The snow is also cleared directly at the holiday home by snow plough as far as possible. A sledge is available free of charge in winter and snowshoes can be hired for a fee. Furthermore, 2 bicycles are available for use in summer/autumn. The WLAN offers free internet access.

Lake Jerisjärvi is 300 metres away and is very clean and rich in fish. In summer it is ideal for fishing and swimming and in winter for ice fishing and cross-country skiing/snowshoeing. The surrounding forests and mountains are ideal for hiking and picking berries and mushrooms. Fishing is possible in nearby Jerisjärvi or in the many waters in the area. A fishing licence is available at the tourist information office in Levi or at Pallas in the visitor centre. Possible fish species in the area are: Perch, pike, whitefish and vendace, burbot, salmon trout.
