58 km southeast of Rovaniemi, Lake Siika-Kämä is just 20 m away (lake length 2 km, width 800 m), with a gently deepening shore, firm sandy/rocky bottom, a pier, and a private boat. There is also a child-friendly sandy beach 50 m from the cabin where swimming is possible.
This small wooden house was originally built in 1970 and has been completely renovated and modernized in 2024. The living area includes a double bed (140 cm) and a sofa bed for one (110 cm). There is a combined kitchen/living room and a bathroom with a toilet. Wireless internet connection (WiFi) is available.
A separate sauna is located 5 m away, featuring a steam room with a wood-burning stove and a water tank, as well as a sauna lounge. The sauna has electric lighting and a summer water pipe inside; in winter, water is carried in buckets from the main building.
During the snow-free season, there is a campfire site by the shore. Two cabins share a 1 km nature trail, which includes a lean-to shelter and a year-round campfire site.
Pets are allowed for an additional fee. The pet fee is charged per reservation.
A wood-heated hot tub is available for rent at an additional cost of 150 euros per use. For multiple uses, arrangements can be made directly with the owner on-site.
