1. The apartment is not brightly lit by natural light as shown in the photograph. In fact, that window is frosted and must remain closed because eight large trash cans are situated in the courtyard just outside the window. 2. Check-in was the worst imaginable. We wasted many hours and endured tremendous stress because the contact person from Belvilla (given on the paperwork) didn't contact us, and we had no success with our continued attempts to reach him/her for during the 3 days prior to our stay. We finally reached someone, perhaps at Studio Prestige (who seems to be the outsourced company) on the day of our arrival. VRBO provided no assistance also, and the whole experience was a horror show.

Spent a full week in Paris and the location could not have been better. Incredibly quiet and peaceful yet in the middle of everything in the city.

Overall our stay was pleasant enough, but with some issues. The apartment is in a great location, and it is easy to find. What we were not aware of from other reviews was the shared entrance hallway and very thin walls. Many nights we heard the guests upstairs playing music and dancing until late. Additionally one of the showers does not drain, the drain is actually higher than the rest of the floor, meaning you are always in cold puddles. And while the sheets were clean, there were many places in the apartment that clearly had not been cleaned in some time (beside the counters in each room, baseboards, etc) that was a bit concerning when we dropped items. The host was responsive via email on the day of arrival but impossible to contact ahead of time.

The apartment's location was excellent, and we found everything to be clean and tidy, The hosts were very responsive and reliable, and the two showers were a great feature, We felt very safe during our stay and enjoyed it very much, Although there wasn't a lot of natural light, it didn't bother us because we were out and about all day, The apartment is small, and our bags took up space in the living room, We also wished there was a full-length mirror, The hosts were flexible and had good communication, which we appreciated, Overall, it was a good choice, and we highly recommend this apartment, Thank you so much!

The location is great for those who want to be close to the action and excitement of the Marais neighbourhood, The Centre Pompidou, Place des Vosges, and the Seine are all within an easy stroll, The apartment is comfortable and compact, which is to be expected in this part of town, Although the walls are thin and there may be some noise from neighbouring apartments, there is no street noise as the apartment is in an inner courtyard away from the street, There are also plenty of trendy shops and restaurants within minutes of walking around the busy Marais streets, Metro stations are also close by,

The hosts were very accommodating and responsive, While the beds were really firm, I was pleasantly surprised that they were not as squishy as they looked in the pictures - it was just the comforter that was squishy! The only two issues I had were that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough, but the hosts said they would look into it, The shower in the second bedroom had a door, so we turned on the wall heater and kept the door shut to keep it warm, which worked well, Additionally, we had trouble getting the drying option to work on the washing/drying machine, so we hung up our clothes to dry instead, However, despite these minor issues, our stay was wonderful and the location was great, It's located just off a main street, so it was quieter, There was a noisy neighbor who partied until 3:30 AM on a holiday, but I was able to sleep on the couch with the bedroom door shut to muffle the noise,

Thanks for accommodating us, The apartment served as a good temporary residence, but I was under the impression that the bathrooms would be larger, However, I take full responsibility for not asking about it beforehand, The rooms themselves are adequate, albeit on the small side, with only one having access to natural light, Additionally, it's worth noting that there's only one bathroom, and suitcases need to be stored in the living room,

Our group of four stayed here for a weekend trip with friends, Michael and Joanna were very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay, The location was perfect for us, as we were able to walk to nearly everything we wanted to see and there were many great bars and restaurants nearby, The apartment is set back from the street, so there was no noise from traffic, but we did hear some noise from other apartments (which all seemed to be airbnbs), The apartment was clean and had nice linens and towels, The only downsides were that it was smaller than it appeared in the photos, which was fine for a couple of nights but might feel cramped for a longer stay, Also, there is only one small toilet located off the living room, and one of the showers is inside the bedroom instead of in a separate bathroom, Overall, it was a great home base for a fun weekend in an amazing part of Paris, Thank you so much,

We loved the great location of this apartment in the Marais! It was surprisingly spacious and having two showers was very convenient for groups of 3 or more, The fact that there was only one toilet was a bit strange, but it wasn't a big issue, Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!
