The house is located in the centre of the town, yet the neighborhood is very peaceful and safe. You can find all the amenities within walking distance and its strategic position allows you to reach easily and quickly the most attractive places of the city – you can catch the bus to Meteora and the monasteries from the nearby bus station which lies just 300 m. from the property. Grab the chance to explore the most popular attractions of the town – The Hellenic Culture Museum, The Natural History Museumof Meteora & Mushroom Museum and The Digital Projection Centre of Meteora’s History and Culture, all of which are located no more than 3 mins from the house. You can also visit the Byzantine Church of Virgin Mary - a must-see landmark on account of its old age and precious 11th century Byzantine frescoes - situated right under the breathtaking Meteora rocks. This is definitely one of the most precious early Christian basilicas around Greece and, even nowadays, serves as an active church for the locals. Try visiting the church on foot, since you will have the opportunity to stroll around the old city paved streets.

- You can reach the local bus station, as well as the train station, very easily – you need no more than 5 mins on foot. Access to Trikala and other major cities of the area is easy and there are regular bus and train routes connecting Kalampaka to Athens and Thessaloniki, Ioannina. There is a taxi stand nearby, too, so call a taxi and it will come to your door in no more than 2 mins.
