The old and well-preserved city wall together with the Roman Amphitheatre make of Lucca a unique place. Walking on the little, tiny streets of the centre will make you feel like you were going back in time.Those who love music will be happy to know that Lucca is the hometown of the composer Giacomo Puccini who was born here in 1858. His birth house hosts nowadays a museum open to the public. For the young people, it is worth to mention the Summer Festival during the month of July and the popular Comics exhibition in November.
