The Athena Resort is located in Kamarina, in South Eastern Sicily, it is the only village within the "Oriented Natural Reserve of the Pino d'Aleppo", in the area of ??the ancient Greek city, a short distance from the archaeological site of Kamarina , among the most important in Sicily.
The Village is located on a hill overlooking the sea between Scoglitti and Santa Croce Camerina, it is a purely summer village, tourist activities usually start at the end of May and end at the end of September. From the end of September onwards until the end of May there is no functioning activity (swimming pool, bar, restaurant, beachfront, bazaar, newsagent, tobacconist, hotel, reception), there are only about 20 resident families at all times. Given the distance from the first city (Scoglitti - 4 km), you must have a car to move around, for shopping or other things.

The Athena Resort tourist village is located in the Ragusa area, in one of the municipalities of the Val di Noto (in 2002, it was included among the Italian sites of the UNESCO World Heritage List for its splendid late Baroque cities, the eight cities baroque churches of the Vallo: Caltagirone, Militello in Val di Catania, Catania, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo, Ragusa and Scicli).
We are also in the ideal position to visit the Greek city of Syracuse, Gela and Agrigento, the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, the cuisine and fresh local fish of Scoglitti (seaside village), enjoy chocolate in Modica, visit the places Inspector Montalbano (Punta Secca km.14 La Casa di Montalbano), the Donnafugata Castle just 8 km, the Randello reserve just 4 km (equipped pine forest with free access to the golden sandy beach, the Scoglitti promenade with various km of golden beaches where every afternoon (from Monday to Friday) the fishermen dock with the boats at the marina and sell the catch of the day in whole boxes, or stay inside the Village to live in total relaxation in the midst of nature, taking advantage of the comforts of house and equipment that the village offers.

Apartment with 6 beds, located on the first floor, consists of a large living room kitchen with balcony facing south (from where you can see the sea) with a double sofa bed, kitchen complete with 4 burners, electric oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, complete with pots and pans for cooking and cleaning, digital TV, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, air conditioning / heat pump, everything you need to live well both in winter and in summer. - The double bedroom, equipped with digital TV, air conditioning / heat pump, balcony on the parking area, mosquito nets, safe inside the wardrobe; - another room with 2 single beds (if needed they can be joined and made into a double bed) with a window on the parking area equipped with mosquito nets; - full bathroom with shower, hairdryer and washing machine available. -
PORTABLE WI-FI is available, equipped with batteries, to take with you to visit the most beautiful places in Sicily. -
Private brick barbecue and small iron barbecue in the private land below the house. -
The apartment is located 2 steps from the hotel, the Olympic swimming pool, the miniclub and the shuttle stop area leading to the private beach. -
Inside the village, always available, just 200 meters away, are tennis courts, games for children and in front of the house the pine forest with other games for children together with minigolf and football fields. -

The holiday homes from mid-June to mid-September are rented only for weekly rentals, with entry on Saturday afternoon and exit on the following Saturday morning, before 10:00. -
For all other periods we also accept rentals for a few days, depending on the season. -
There is a surcharge on the rates for short stays up to 2 days. - Greater discounts on weekly rates. -
Attention the house is rented as a residence, therefore, food and drinks are excluded. -

Inside the Village there are always available to guests, even in winter (but without lighting) tennis courts, soccer fields, pine forest with outdoor games for children. -
From June to September, there are tourist hotel activities in full swing, those who come to stay at our house also benefit from all the services that an Alpitour International Tourist Village can offer (access to the private beach equipped with bar and restaurant with free use of deck chairs and umbrellas, shuttle service included), access and use of the Olympic swimming pool, use of mini and junior clubs, all daily entertainment activities and evening shows with final group dances .........
