Old stone Villa with - newly renovated - surrounded with nature - ideal for peaceful holiday

The original stone villa built in 1857 newly renovated, situated in the peaceful village Mocici, most beautiful part of the Dubrovnik Riviera. Villa is located in the village Mocici which is located in Konavle known as second Toscana because similar beautiful nature, 5 km from Cavtat and 18 km from Dubrovnik.The following description is a first draft, which is still awaiting revision. Please contact our Customer Service if it contains any gaps.

Villa Joe is ideal for a comfortable and luxurious vacation without the hustle and bustle. It is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Konavle, panoramic views of the sea and garden facing the south with 800m2 garden. Our visitors can also relax in "Dubrovnik glorijet", offering a beautiful panoramic view. What will complete holiday four our guests is an outdoor swimming pool of 45 m² (heated out of summer season) with shallow for children and non-swimmers or just for relax. There is also jacuzzi for 4 person, Finnish sauna, 4 bicycles, and children's playground. There is a covered outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a space for eating and socializing (lounge), shower and lounge chairs by the pool. Parking is provided for 4 cars.

The villa is set on three floors, with a total of 300 m2 of living space. We offer 5 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. The first floor is the living area, dining room, kitchen, wine cellar and entertainment room with billiards and pikado, toilette. All bedrooms and a living room have a flat-screen TV and the house is fully air-conditioned, thus covered with wireless internet connection.

Villa Joe is located in small village Mocici out of touristic noise surround with nature ideal for enjoyment in peaceful vacation with family or friends. The closest touristic village by the see is Cavtat 4-5 km away. There is lot of restaurants, coffees, bars, beaches, walking paths, fish market... Dubrovnik is 18 km away, around 20-30 min driving, depends of the traffic. Also from Cavtat every 15-30 min is water taxi to Dubrovnik, from 9 AM to 10 PM. There is also Molunat which is one of the southernmost places of Croatia, near the border with Montenegro. The villa position is ideal for hose who wants to explore south of Croatia, Montenegro (Herceg Novi, Kotor, Porto Montenegro...) and south of Bosnia and Hercegovina (Mostar, Kravice waterfalls, Trebinje, Vjetrenica cave...)
About restaurants and shops the nearest grocery is around 700 meters away, good supply of bakery, fruit, vegetables, meat. The nearest restaurant is 700 meters away, behind the grocery, and within a range of 2-5 kilometers there are several different, very good restaurants. In the area there are also a number of rural households (Agrotourism) where you can taste traditional dishes and drinks. Shopping center is 10 min driving, Lidl - big supermarket 15 min driving. It would be a good idea to rent a car for you to explore and reach the entire area, but for those who do not want to drive a car on their vacation and then they could use the taxi services which is available throughout the area, we recommend cheaper options for taxi service Eco taxi or Uber... Also there is bus station approximately 500-600 meters from the house - connection to Dubrovnik a few times a day.
Lovers of cycling can choose any of the bike trails length of 10 kilometers or more. For those who want to explore the rich coast there are several diving clubs in Cavtat. 5 km away is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic "Pasjaca" whose beauty and purity of the sea are breathtaking. Through entire area are hiking trails that allow you to enjoy the untouched nature, but also to get to the unique beaches Konavle rocks.
In central part of Cilipi is square with the parish church of St. Nicholas, surrounded by stone buildings. From the church, descend the stairs to the plateau of the market and thus form a natural stand-stage for numerous visitors of folklore events that are already 40 years every Sunday from Easter to the end of October. There is also the homeland house of Konavle - ethnographic museum with a rich Konavle material.

4 bicycles will be at guests disposal, free of charge.
Also, there is two baby cots for small children in the villa.
The villa is approximately 1km away from airport, but we'd like to point out that it doesn't intrude the peace of the house in any manner, so we believe that this is one of our strengths, because guests do not have to go on a long and hard drive after arrival at the airport.
