The holiday home is ideally located in the heart of a great hiking area, perfect for anyone who wants to experience authentic Western Norwegian nature with steep mountains, waterfalls, and spectacular natural wonders. Explore the marked trails in the Suldalsfjellene or hike to Grytenuten for spectacular views. The surrounding area also offers several attractions, such as a beautiful sandy beach in the nearby village of Marvik, ideal for warm summer days.

Just a short drive away is the town of Sand, where you can visit local restaurants, the Salmon Studio, the Ryfylke Museum, and swim. Day trips to Sauda are also worthwhile, with Svandalsfossen, a water park, a golf course, restaurants, and shops. In winter, you can enjoy great skiing at the Gullingen and Svandalen ski resorts. Day trips to iconic locations such as the Lysefjord, Preikestolen, Stavanger, and Kongeparken are also possible.

For those who want to get out on the water, a boat can be rented, which is located just a stone's throw from the cottage at the private dock.
