Whether you want to walk to the famous Ballenberg Museum, the Aare Gorge or the Axalp-Meiringen-Hasliberg hiking and/or skiing areas, you are sure to enjoy your holiday.
Not far from the flat is the famous Ballenberg open-air museum (6 minutes on foot). Since June 2022, the Trauffer Experience World with bakery, restaurant, bistro and a tour of wood processing, especially the famous carved wooden cows, has been located in the centre of the village. The beautiful Lake Brienz with the chalet village of Brienz is also just a few kilometres away and easily accessible by public transport.
