Rural Holiday Home in Casas Del Monte
House:
This small complex with 3 rural cottages is located in the village Casas del Monte, in the Cáceres province. In addition to a natural pond, it offers a terrace with views on the fabulous sun sets and the dam lake Gabriel and Galán in the background. From the veranda on the front of the cottage you will have views on the mountain "Traslasierra" and the tip of "Camocho". The cottages are located half-way (at 750 m) of the "Traslasierra" mountains, in the "Suiza Extremeña" region. Recommended places to visit are e.g.: Granadilla (walled village drowned by the dam lake), the archaeological Roman ruins and the silver route (Vía de la Plata), the medieval lords' town Plasencia, the valley of Jerte, the nature park Monfragüe and the ski resort Covatilla. A tranquil and peaceful place, surrounded by leafy local trees like alder trees, chestnut trees and oaks.

Mementos of the happy twenties, the Spanish civil war in 1936, the two World Wars and the thriving 60s and 70s. The museum is located in a wonderful architecture and spectacular sightseeing. Parque ornitológico y Zoo botánico Los Pinos (Ornithologic Park and Botanical Zoo Los Pinos) The Ornithologic Park and Botanical Zoo Los Pinos is located in the built-up area of Plasencia (Caceres). There you can find a wide range of animals: black swans, swan gooses, barnacle goose, etc. In the Botanical Zoo you will see: strawberry trees, sweet gum trees, elms, catawbas, etc. You will be surprised.
