The spacious holiday flat is situated on the garden level of a private house on the outskirts of the village in a quiet location with no through traffic.
100 m² comfortable holiday flat in Fürfurt an der Lahn with idyllic garden for two to six people. It is an ADFC-certified, bicycle-friendly guest house. The flat has a total of four rooms plus kitchen, bathroom and separate WC. In one bedroom there is a double bed (160 x 220 cm) and a sofa bed (pull-out couch) for two people (160 x 200 cm). In the other bedroom, which also has a fireplace, there is a day bed (100 x 200 cm) and a double sofa bed (pull-out couch) for two people. In the billiard room (passageway to the WC) there is another sofa bed (100 x 230 cm). In the dining room there is a sofa bed for two people (170 x 200 cm). The house was renovated in 2010 to energy-efficient new-build standards, the holiday flat was created barrier-free, fully furnished and equipped with attention to detail. Features include an open fireplace, library and modern paintings by a contemporary artist. There is also a shower in the bathroom with marble tiles and WC. There is a billiard room, TV, WiFi, telephone, music system and games. The fully equipped kitchen also has a washing machine and dishwasher, fridge, microwave, induction hob and crockery. The flat was last renovated in 2018 and has a separate WC and a bathroom with shower.
The following facilities are available outside: A covered terrace, various tables and seating throughout the garden area as well as a small barbecue, sunbathing area, parasol, lockable bicycle parking space and, last but not least, a car parking space.
The village of Fürfurt on the Lahn with its lock and weir has 150 inhabitants and is a treasure trove for those seeking relaxation and active holidaymakers. On both sides, the Lahn heights between Weilburg and Bad Ems follow the most beautiful section of this unspoilt river landscape. Canoeists, cyclists and hikers will find an extensive, partly award-winning network of trails right on their doorstep. The varied cultural landscape with its medieval half-timbered towns, castles and fortresses, museums, geopark and much more offers a wealth of excursion destinations. The location of the house is in Hesse on the romantic Lahn and near the Weinbach district of Fürfurt. The following excursion destinations have the distances listed in brackets: Weilburg (eight km) and Limburg (25 km), motorway A3 (20 km), airport Frankfurt/M. (60 km). The railway station, boat landing stage, Lahntal cycle path and a restaurant are less than five minutes' walk away.
